Yeah the worst is Ben and Jerrys Ice cream. There are 4 servings in a pint but who only eats 1/4 of a pint at a time. It is just a way to make what you are eating seem better for you. Most people dont look at the serving size.

Heh..B & J is one of the few things I can regulate myself on. I always get too full when I try to eat a whole pint (Chunky Monkey is my fave).

Are you kidding?!? I can go through a pint of New York Super Fudge Chunk in about 10 minutes and not think twice about it.
Of course, I'm now a big, fat mess, but I digress....

Why is it that you can buy a 20 oz. coke or a little bag of cookies - which should be *ONE* serving - does the info on the back say something ridiculous like 2.5? How many people do you know that go to vending machines, buy a bag of cookies, then look at the back of the bag and decide that they can only eat 1/3 of the bag at a time? I don't know anyone like that. They all just sit and eat the whole bag. Ugh. I hate that.

I've had lot's of opportunities to try out Ben & Jerry's ice cream and everytime I refuse to eat it. I probably should try it sometime, but I think I'm better off not knowing. I can't afford to get addicted to another type of junk food otherwise my clothes won't fit me anymore. One size fits all: XL. I don't want another X.
Those ridiculous serving sizes are so annoying and sometimes misleading! For exameple, a bag of Chips Ahoy cookies has each serving size as one freaking cookie! Who ever eats only one cookie? And that individual cookie has over 80 calories! Just eating a couple cookies is a meal in itself.

no no no, the serving sizes are so they dont hafta write like 50 grams of fat on the back. they can say there is 5 grams of fat PER serving....*ahem* theres of cource 10 servings, but whos looking *ahem*

At one place around here a small cone is like two scoops for every other place, but their small cups are tiny. I don't get it, but I'm not complaining.
