View Full Version : Workin 9 to 5
Well actually its more like 7-7. Tax season is here and kickin. I've been averaging 2-3 tax returns a day, if not more. I have been pleasntly been rather pleasntly supprised that I actually really enjoy preparing them. For years Ive heard people gripe about doing their taxes, but its really fun actually. The only problem is the long days don't really leave me much time for a life. I keep telling myself that its only for a couple months, but it still has moments of sucking. Oh well, back to bean counting.

My accountant has the same problem (they all do), he handles it by taking a nice vacation (usually Virgin Islands or something), starting April 16 for about two to four weeks.

What a great way to celebrate my birthday
ahhh, april 16th . . . national accountants day . . . or tax day, or to hell with work day, take your pick either way there is no way I will go anywhere near work on that day. I think I might just take a couple days off, enjoy life AT (after taxes). It should be fun
Enjoy yourself and relax after the "season" :hug2:
And it continues, Im now doing 4-5 returns a day and work has been continuing to accelarate as we move toward the last couple weeks of tax season. I still enjoy it, but I really can't wait for it to be over. Last night I came home at 7 and then fell asleap . . . woke up for dinner, and then went back to bed. I havn't had much time for a life, which moslty sucks, but Its almost over and then I will have lots of vacation to kill which will rock.
Never give up! :cookie:
