Cruise!

So in 10 hours I will be heading out to Miami for my first cruise ever. I'm totally excited, especially since it's 10* here. :D

I guess I just wanted to gloat, or procrastinate even more from packing (yes, I still haven't even STARTED!!!).

ok, so been back from vacation for a couple days now... i guess i should talk about it ;)

so it wasnt very exciting. i was kinda disappointed cause i spent a lot of money to sit back in a room and relax for several days. but the rocking of the boat just kept putting me to sleep! i just couldnt handle it standing up. i didnt get motion sickness, more like i had no equilibrium. and that annoyed the bejebus out of me.

but the food was EXCELLENT. dinner was one of the few times that i left my cabin. i DID get to see some of cozumel since we were in port there for almost a day. didnt get much further than the port since we were quite low on money at that time (chrix had a BLAST). i did come home with a nice haul of liquor though! :)

so if i am to ever take another cruise (which the group is already putting together for next year), i must find a way to combat the lack of equilibrium.

however, next big trip is looking like chicago... AGAIN! the annual "goth" convention called convergence will be there this year, AND i will get to see seestor. i dont know if i will actually go to the convention, but it's happening around the time i would like to head back to chicago.

basically, i met a lot of really cool people, saw several internet friends irl for the first time, and got to hang out (some) with other friends that i dont get to see too often (including the ones that were there from cleveland!).

and here is photographic proof that i didnt totally hate it. ;)

it would be a weekend. may 7-9th, if i make it out then.

hmm... i could try finding a doctor and finding that out (my insurance just changed...). i would love to actually have the full cruise experience. even moreso when i actually have the proper finances to do so!
