In my chemistry class, there's this kid who's supposed to be a senior, but he's a junior, and he harrases everyone constantly! I've even seen little FRESHMEN who act more mature than he does!
He's constantly saying stupid things to people! He also likes sticking his foot out when somebody walks in front of his desk, trying to trip them.
You know what he once did to me?! Unfortuneatly, I am seated next to the idiot. About 3 weeks ago, I was about to sit down when all of the sudden he punched me in the ass for no good reason!!! Normally, I would hit back or something to set him straight for that class, but I decided not to, so I could report it later on with no offences on my part. I just told him to keep his:censored:ing hands off me in a very harsh, stern tone. He did it 6 times! The last time he did it, I was up at the teacher's desk asking him a question, and Paul (the idiot) did it again! The teacher saw it , but all he did was shout, "Paul!" I even told him that he's done that six times, and he didn't even respond!!!!!!!!!!!! I did file as sexual harrassment compliant to my guidance counselor, because the vice principal was quite busy. She said she'd report it to administration as soon as she could, but they NEVER got back to me about the incident!!!!
During one lab, we were all in a group, and unforetuneatly, he was in the same group as me! In the same lab group, there is also another girl that Paul says stupid things to. During one lab, he asked her if she knew karate! Just because she is Chinese, he was assuming that!!! She just nonchalantly answered "no", and kept working. Then, me and the whole group were telling him how rude and stereotypical that was. Of course, he contradicted us. Needles to say, that girl doesn't like him very much, and I can sense that she gets quite annoyed with him. Later on that same day, out of the blue for no reason whatsoever, he went up to this one kid with an eyedropper (we were using them in the lab) filled with water, squirted the water onto this guy's notebook paper! He was MAD. I'd be too.
Paul acts ridiculous for his age!! He's 17, and acts worse than most little kids!
Yesterday, he was starting up again, but I gave him what he deserved! He was acting stupid like usual, you know, poking me with pens, trying to put his hands on me, making fun of other people, trying to hit me, all that other crap. After he did all that, I let him have it..... I stomped on his foot as hard as I could! Needless to say, he yelled in pain, and he wasn't very happy. lol He tried fake-fighting with me (not throwing actual punches, but doing the motions with very little contact) When one of my friends, Dan "the man", said, "she could take you" He stopped right away. HA! He got what he deserved that class!! Oh well, it's not my fault that he continuosly bothers me and even tries to get physical. What I did was provoked, I do NOT beat on people for no reason. Paul is a big provoker.
Yesterday, I was getting aggrivated to the point where I was about ot walk up to the teacher, and ask him to switch Paul's seat to get him away from me, because he never stops harrasing me!! I think I should do that, but since the teacher does seating and grouping alphabetically, I'm not sure it would happen, but if it starts agian, I'll consider that idea.
He even talks about being homicidal, and once got suspended for punching a little 6th grader (I hear they mix high school and middle school on the buses) in the back of the head on his bus. I walk home, so I wasn't there, but he was telling people about it.
He's SOOOOO immature, that it's sickening!!! I honestly think thre's something wrong with him.

I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THAT STUPID IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :ticked:

wow

i've definitely seen similar things, and i've known similar people, but that's way out of hand

good for you for standing up for yourself, and good for you for reporting him when it's necessary. and if they don't get back to you, which they *really* need to, you need to follow up, or go up over their heads to the next level. that kind of thing can't be going unheard, because it could be something really serious

and go ahead and try to get your seats moved around, there's no harm in asking and if the teacher won't move you for the sake of preserving alphabetical order then he's got some problems.

the guy (the jerk) definitely has some problems, and i don't think immaturity is the only one. in that respect you almost want to pity him, but i've been in shoes similar to yours and i know it's not pity you're feeling.

you're doing all the right things, just keep that up, combine it with ignoring him so he's not encouraged, and sooner or later, whether it's soon or if/when he graduates, he'll be out of your hair. and i haven't seen anything like that in college, so you have that to look forward to.

MJ ,I definitely agree with what you said. I do try to ignore him as much as I can.
He's real weird. He's OK the next minute, but mean the next. I'll just ignore him altogether, even if he's being nice (he's a jerk most of the time) so then he'll get the message to leave me alone, and also stand up for myself whenever necessary. That should work.

Ill loan you the ole level 9 extra splintery, just in case, but I think MJ is right ignoring him is probably the best way to handle him. He probably likes messing with you because you get obviously pissed . . . if you just ignore him he wont get nearly the same satisfaction . . .

on the other hand he might like you and just not know how to deal with it. still, ignoring him is best.
