i know chicago's having fun with these, i don't know about anywhere else...

we've got the nastiest infestation of *biting* ladybugs i've ever seen. it's actually slowing down now, but last week it was ridiculous. you could look at any lighting fixture and see two or three of them bouncing off of it

i couldn't bike around, or walk around for that matter, without the stupid things flying into me at high velocity

and they bite! and they SMELL bad when you kill them, which of course is completely necessary

it has something to do with the warm weather we had, but i hope it gets real cold again soon, and fast, so the little smelly snots just die!!

BITING lady bugs?! And they smell bad when you kill them?? I have never heard of that in my life..... it sounds like quite the problem.
The problem around here at this time of year is flies. It hasn't been so bad lately, but when it is happening, there's a ton of them! They burn in he lights in my house, and I am very thankful that I have one of those glass-plastic things over the light bulb in my room. When they burned in our old hallogen lamp, they'd stink up the ENTIRE house! :hurl:

Yep, them ladybugs are all over the Chicago area... from what I read somewhere, they bite to see if you are tasty. I don't know what they do if they find that you are tasty - keep biting?

i hate this, every year it happens again
it was worse when i was up in michigan, i would seriously walk outside of my apartment and the walls would be COVERED in ladybugs
here in ohio it's not quite as bad but theyre still everywhere
a few fly into my car, i have a few down here in the basement that usually end up on my monitor (till the spiders get em)
