On Sunday, I took a very exciting trip with my mom, Great Aunt, and cousin to New York City.
We had to get up @ 4 in the morning (what an ungodly hour!) to get ready, go my G. Aunt's house to meet her and my cousin, and drive 1 hour to catch a bus. After the bus, we took a train rest of the way to Grand Central.
The trip was fun! We got to see Times Square, which I think was the most attractive part of NYC, and we browsed in some shops and ate at a Greek restauraunt.
We also went to Ground Zero, where the World Trade Center used to be. Now, it's just a gigantic hole with a fence around it. My cousin bought a picture of the WTC while he was there. While I was there, I bought one of those NYC police department sweatshirts. (New Yorkers here probably have seen them and know what I'm talking about)
We took like, a million subways! Those were fun. We didn't get home 'til about 10:15 pm, and I didn't get to bed until 11 pm, because I still had a little homework to do, and I also had to get ready for bed.
The funny thing was, it actually feels safer in NYC then where I really live.
I had a wonderful time, but the lack of sleep took a toll on me. I've been moodier and more tempermental than ever lateley, even though it's part of my personality at times, I can still tell the difference, because it's more extreme than ever since I had the lack of sleep. Otherwise, It was a fun trip!! :D
