Yesterday I posted my resume on a major website to see if that could find me a job, well Last night at about 10:30 PM I got a call from someone who wanted to interview me . . . doesnt tell me anything about the company, what the job is really (an administrative accountant was as much as i was able to get), hardly any info, the company doesnt have a website, and so im stuck not knowing much, but I call back to schedule an interview this morning and the guy doesnt want to schedule a time or anything, just gave me his cell phone number and said call when you are in the area and we will do an interview. Weirder . . . so I guess this weekend I will be driving the 3 hours to SF, staying with my girlfriend, and going to an interview . . . who knows what will happen . . . but mabe ill like it and get some sort of a job that makes me money finaly . . . here's to hopeing

that sounds pretty sketchy, calling at 10:30, not having scheduled interviews, etc..

but you'll know for sure when you go to the interview. unless they meet you at a restaurant or something.. maybe it's a top-secret thing!

anyhow, good luck!

Word of caution: Be very careful about this.
Having been through plenty of interviews, this doesn't exactly sound like something on the "up and up".

I know you really need a job, but you don't want to get involved with something that doesn't benefit you or your future plans, just for the sake of having a job.

Well heres the scoop, I went in for the interview on Saturday to their office. They are a really small company that tests construction materials. I would actually be putting togeather proposals and the like for prospective clients . . . this pissed me off in a way because it is not even in the field that I want to work in, nor what was mentioned in my resume, and what he mentioned in the first phone call. It really doesnt sound like a job I would take, even though I really need the job, and I would be able to move in with my girlfriend famlily for nothing and they live only 10 min from their office. But oh well this one didnt seem to work out, but the next one will im sure of it.
