When me and my friend Juan were still going out, we'd hang out at my place a lot. One day, we were outside sitting on some stairs playing around, and he was tickling me. When he was tickling me, I fell off one stair, and hurt my back a bit. He felt bad about that.
So, the next day when he came over, he said to me, "Is your back OK?"
Well, because of his Spanish accent, I thought he had said, "Is your BUTT ok?" I laughed and said, "Yes, my butt is fine!" He looked at me like I was crazy(he doesn't know what "butt" means. He's still learing English) and that's when I rememebered what happened the day before, and realized what he had really said! Then he said to me, "What is "butt"?" Man, I was laughing because of my mistake (don't worry. He knew it was my bad and that I wasn't laughing at HIM) I just said, "Oh, you'll learn what it means...."
And before he said that he meant my BACK, I was wondering why in the hell he wanted to know about my butt! I was a bit confused for a few seconds there...
Make sure yoyu listen closely to someone if they have an accent...
