After reading the book I couldn't wait for the movie. Now I find out that, though Anthony Hopkins is going to do it, but Jodi Foster isn't. The book was so good because I could picture the two of them in everything and hear them saying the things the characters said. Now I'm trying to decide if the movie is even going to be worth it without her. What do you guys think?

I believe that's what I heard...who is she anyway?

she was in "the end of the affair" w/ralph fiennes and that other movie w/mark wahlberg, in which she played a porn star. can't think of the name of it.
she's a great actress. after my initial shock of hearing that jodie wasn't going to make a comeback, i think moore is an excellent replacement.

"Boogie Nights". Interesting flick. But I digress...
I just saw the movie poster for this flick - scared the crap out of me cause I didn't expect it to be where it was, and it's just spooky to begin with.

He has an "A" on his forehead :\
I haven't read Hannibal, but I read Silence of the Lambs, and I really liked it. However, when I tried to watch the movie, I got bored and changed the station.

You are correct, Julianne Moore is taking over that roll.
However, she's approaching it slightly different from what I read in Entertainment Weekly...
I think they'll do a decent job, even though it's been through director hell and back. At least from what I could determine from the article, it looks like they're headed in the right direction finally.
I recently saw a very brief teaser trailer in the movie theater too, so I guess they're advertising early.

Or is that the Greek letter lambda? Perhaps Hannibal has gone mad from trying to master the long-jump in Half-Life...
