I'm so excited! I'll be a (high school) sophomore in 6 days!! (sept.3) :D Tonight, I went supplies shopping, and I just got done putting it all together. The binder I organized looks pretty damn good :D. It was fun arranging it all. For geometry, I got this really neat thing that is both a protractor and a ruler! The ruler part folds in half, and in the middle, there's this small protractor thingy that sticks out like a semi-circle, and you can use it's folding ability to measure angles. It's a very convienient little tool! Sounds complicated, but it's actually quite simple. I also got this really professional geometry set with a buch of geo tools in it incase I need them.
This year, I am taking chemistry(hmm...what will I blow up..lol), geometry, Spanish 3, English, World History/Geography 2, and for an elective, I decided to do ceramics. And of course, I also have to take gym and human development, which I don't consider real subjects LOL. Yet, there's still a side of me that will miss summer a tad bit... :( Of course, I won't be around the boards as much as I have been starting on the 3rd...
What a great year this is going to be. Alll those immature idiots will be grown up, I'll get to see my friends, and I CAN'T WAIT! :D Wish me luck... :)
Good luck!
Don't ashame us !

Tonight is the last night that I get to stay up late :( cuz I go back in 2 days, and I have to be in bed by 9:00 pm or so. Big switch from 2 am. Dunno how I'm going to handle that..... I'll be OK, though.

School's going wonderful for me so far. I can't believe I'm actually in 10th grade now! Here's the scoop of my first 2 days... I've seen a ton of people, and lots of good things happened.
On the very first day of school, I made plans with bootzboy to meet him in the morning. We didn't specify exact times, kinda when we'd be there sort of a thing. Well, guess what happened? At the EXACT moment I was walking on the sidewalk nearly entering the school, bootzboy pulled up right next to me! (his dad was driving him) Great timing, eh?
This year, I decided to take ceramics, chemistry, geometry, Spanish 3, English, and World History 2. For English and geometry, I got the same teachers I had last year! I'm actually glad I got the same English teacher, because she's really fair, doesn't overload on homework, I know her teaching style, and if you don't like a grade on a paper she'll let you rewrite it as many times as you want. I don't mind that I got the same math teacher, he's nice and all, but I sure do hope he teaches geometry better than he taught algebra!
Then, there's this kid "Dan the man" who I got SIX classes with!!! On the first part of the day, we have FOUR classes in a row together! Isn't that crazy! After the 3rd class together we were both like, "Oh my god! YOU again?!" LOL The only class we DON'T have together is Spanish! We have all other classes besides Spanish together.
I saw him today in the gym (10th graders had to got to a health class instead though) and jokingly said, "dammit, Dan!" , cuz that's the SIXTH class we have together! I'm not joking. Fortunately, I have history with one of my friends, Matt! And of course, DAN. LOL
I also have chemistry with another friend of mine, Corey! Chemistry's fine, but the teacher talks a little too much, and the math involved in it is hard. (it's algebra. no wonder)
On the first day of ceramics, the teacher did something quite amusing... In the class, there is this kid named Dennis. The teacher was reading the names off the attendance sheet, and when he got to Dennis's name, he said "Denise"!! Of course, whole entire class cracked up, and Dennis said perhaps a little jokingly, "Denise?! Denise! Man, it gets worse every year!"
Then there's this really quiet Chinese kid, "Goatee" ( I'll explain about the name later) that I've been saying hi to since last year (an aquaintance) Well, on the first day of school, he said hi to me. Instead of just making a gesture to me like he did last year, he actually SAID hi. And I realized he has a REALLY deep voice! I was just thinking to myself, "Damn, his voice is deep!" Wasn't expecting that from him at all.
I also saw Juan, and I talked a little bit with him. He seemed very happy to see me.
Guess who else I saw? I saw my cousin Matt! (a different Matt than the one in my history class) He's a freshman, and I think (and hope) he'll have a good time at the school.
The funny thing is, this kid, Jose who I went to middle school with, but he's a grade below me, and we haven't seen each other since 7th grade (we don't really know each other, but we recognize who the other person is by appearance) Well, I have pysicaly changed A LOT, I mean mucho mucho since 7th grade, and he just looked at me all confused! LOL (he usually has pretty much the same facial expression, so I really couldn't tell for sure what he was thinking)
Annnnnnnd of course I have a crush on a guy as usual. And of course, kowing my taste, he's another "Latin Lover"
Those were GREAT two days! :D
