This poll is fishy, of course, I am alien, I am legal alien, but I and my tribe, who are also legal aliens, thay has problems with driver license and SSN and school and credit and ets ... etc ... only because we are aliens.
And ... I can to imagine what kind of humiliation these democrats put on 'illegal aliens'. And it is very bad practice... So - there are should not be illegal aliens at all. All aliens should be legal and all them should have license.
They should be deported immediately upon being found.
Yep ... This is the way to solve problem. May be not best way ...
I think that this is the good time to initiate poll about prostitution legalization ... This is the same problem ... at least no difference from legal side...

Um, if they don't belong in the country, why are we legitimizing them in any way? If they can sneak under a fence, hop a raft, or stowaway on a ship, then surely the bus is a step up, and a feasible means of transportation until they can acquire the proper legal immigration status.
My vote is a resounding 'no'.

not to sound redundant ... No, No, No, ... if they want to drive then own up to who they are, make their position/entry legal and get a legit license ...if you want to be in anothers country then abide by the rules, simple!

if i was an illegal alien, id say let yes, give me that liscense so i can have a car to run away in when the cops bust my ass.
but if im not an illegal alien, then id say no, deport all those Mexicans out of our godly United States of Godliness and back to where those crazy Mexicans came from, wherever they.. come from..

a driver's license implies legality of residence, and I imagine paperwork for giving an illegal alien a license is a nightmare
so they should be legitimate citizens before they can get their license. and ideally, if they've already settled in and gotten a job or wahtever, it shouldn't be too hard for them to get that legitimacy. at least that's the way it ought to work, i really have no idea how it actually works.

I voted NO, but that was with the understanding of the aliens being from this planet.
If you can navigate space from another galaxy, certainly you deserve a driver's license. :ship:
No way, Jose. First of all, I don't trust them, and secondly they don't belond here in the first place. I can understand that they sometimes need licenses, but it would be like giving some n00b we don't know the least about an important mod position of AlienSoup. They should earn the right to be a mod and become a citizen of the board.
