Yesterday, I got back from one of the most fun family vacations I've taken yet, and now I'm here to tell you all about it!
Mom and I went down to New Jersey and stayed at my aunt uncle and cousins' house, because my cousin Andrew was in a World Series game in Maryland. He, my aunt, and uncle came up. They are from Arkansas, so I only get to see them once every several years. I was SO excited to finally see them again! So, Andrew and his team made it to the Cal Ripken World Series. The first game we saw was against Hawaii, and the second game we saw was against New Hampshire. They lost aginst Hawaii, but won against New Hampshire. And my cousin won the award for best player two days in a row!! :D My cousin Amanda and I made this sign that said, "GO ANDREW" with all his embarrassing nicknames on it. LOL and we also painted our fingernails his team colors. He's a really fun kid, and it was great to see him. After the first game, we took him out to eat a nice restauraunt. My cousin Brittany's birthday is coming up very soon, so our uncle told the people that work there about it, and a little while later, they came out with a slice of cake and sang happy birthday to her. It was SO funny! Brittany was embarrassed as ever, sitting there covering her face with her hands, and the whole place was staring at her. I've had that done twice in my life, so I can symapthsize :lol: We did a lot of driving back and forth between New Jersey and Maryland. Me and Amanda got REALLY goofy like always, and had tons of fun! We are the two biggest goofs in the world!
On the last day of the trip, we stayed at my other aunt uncle and cousins' house, also in New Jersey. They had just come back from a bad trip, so they were happy to see us. My aunt got a new puppy. It's a yellow lab, and man is she a handful! You have to watch the pup like a baby! She's a cute dog, though. Then there's my other uncle with the 2 HUGE saint bernards, one of which ran through the fence when he got spooked out by someone outside. I was swimming in the pool, heard a big crash against the fence, and the dog ran though it! Boy. was my uncle mad about that!
Now we all miss each other already!
