Hey! How is everyone? I'm doing great, and I'm going away on Friday. I'll be in New Jersey, and then I'm going to Maryland to watch my younger cousin, Andrew play in the Wolrd Series! I'm so excited! And so is the rest of the family. Form what my uncle said, that whole team is REALLY good, and they can all hit the ball over the fence! Grandma saw them on TV, and said the play like pros, and they're only 12! Man, that aughta be one good game... :cheer: I am also very excited, cuz that set of family lives all the way in Arkansas, and I haven't seen them in 3 years!
Yesterday, I got my schedule and that letter from the principal for school in the mail. That got me excited! I'll finally be in 10th grade! We go back September 3. Summer does start to bore me sometime in the middle of August (usually by now), but not as bad as it has previous summers. Is it an age issue or something? I just don't seem as ready to up and go this year as I did other years. I'm gonna still feel like getting to bed at 2 in the morning, and sleeping till almost noon! :lol: Good thing there's a few weeks of summer left! I still need it.
On the 29th, I am going to a pizza party for my volunteer job that the boss of the volunteers is throwing, to thank us for our work. She does little things like that, and it's very nice.
SO, what's everyone else been up to? Any interesting vacations you've taken this summer? The most interesting vacation this summer was the last time I went down to NJ, and went to this really awesome beach with my aunt, mom and 2 cousins. The waves in the water were so freakin' huge! I got knocked down 3 times! And my tiny little 7-year-old cuz got kocked over, went under, and she got TOTALLY soaked! LOL poor lil' thing! She was OK, and didn't get scared, thank god. My cousins and I also collected a bunch of sea shells. (Mine are still in NJ, but I'll pick them up next time I go back there) That place was also REALLY sandy, and we all left with sand in our bathing suits!
