Well, I waited in line for an hour on Tuesday to get a pass, then I waited in line 2 hours yesterday to get a seat...and my work paid off. I SAW THE MOVIE.
Before I begin, let me say to those of you who may not know - a "Spoiler" is a post that gives away the plotline to a movie or TV show. Which means, if you haven't seen X-Men yet, and you *don't* want to know what happens, please do NOT read this post!
All that being said, let me spill the beans for the rest of you http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

The movie opens with a pretty somber portrayal of a German concentration camp in Poland. A young boy is separated from his parents, and, realizing what will happen to them, he tries to rush back inside some metal gates. Evil Nazis (are there any other kind) hold the boy back as he reaches his hand out as if to grab his parents. As the Nazis restrain the boy, you hear the sound of the metal gates beginning to bend...
Fast forward to a southern state where a young girl receives her first kiss from a boy, only to put the boy into a coma...
A senate committee hearing is held, where the guest speaker is a Dr. Jean Grey. Her speech is interrupted by power-hungry Senator Kelly, who goes on a tirade against mutants. While this occurs, a figure in black strides out of the spectator's section, being followed by the eyes of a bald man in a wheelchair.
The two men confront each other in a hallway...one looking for a sign of hope in the other's eyes (and perhaps mind http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/wink.gif ), the other explaining that changes will take place soon...and one should be careful to stay out of his way.
The southern girl from earlier hitch-hikes to a small town in Canada, where she witnesses a Toughman-type contest between several locals, and an ornery-looking fella with tussled hair and a stogie, knicknamed "The Wolverine". The next morning they hear of a UN Conference on Mutants being held in NYC via the TV in the bar, but the newscast is interrupted by one of the Toughman losers who wants a piece of Logan's hide. The fight ends quickly as Logan's mutation is discovered and he leaves, with Rogue in tow.
Rogue explains the importance of wearing a seatbelt just before a tree falls in front of Logan's truck, and Logan flies out the window a couple hundred feet...but he stands up, the cuts on his face from the windshield healing before Rogue's eyes. Suddenly, a tree trunk smacks Logan in the face, and a fight with Sabretooth is on.
As Sabretooth gets the upper hand, two figures in black appear - Storm and Cyclops. Sabretooth is dispatched post haste as the two heroes take Rogue and Logan to a school in Upstate NY, a school for extraordinarily gifted youngsters...
What do you all think? Shall I leave it at that, piquing your interests, or should I go further and spill more beans?
