I finally graduated!! :yay:
"RAISE THE ROOF! RAISE THE ROOF!" WHEEEEEE
It was held in a nice air conditioned gym so no one was too hot under those dark, grey, heavy robes. The ceremony was rather short compared to the ones I've seen so it was very pleasant. Friends and family came which was so nice of them to come see me!
After the ceremony, things speed up a bit. I got home after my parents did. I would have liked to have been home before my parents cause this would have been the first time my father saw my house since I moved in. I would have liked to see his reaction. My cousin had called me needing directions and was running late so I had to figure out the fastest way to my house. I then discovered I had to get going to the restaurant where my parents and my boyfriend's family were going to have graduation dinner and I had to find a way to get my cousin there cause she was going to be too late to meet me at my house, so I ended up missing out on any between event discussions with anyone. Once we got to dinner after driving in late sunday traffic, things cooled down and my cousin was there and so was everyone else.
I had a great time and am very relieved this whole day has gone as well as it did. I got to see some of my friends in class and meet some of their family. I actually got to wear the graduation attire. I never thought I'd see myself in a robe like that!
Now it's time to relax and veg out with my Alien! :cheek: :beer:
