Alright
I just setup some reservations for a room at Coronado Springs at Diensy World.
First off, any opinions of this place? Seems nice and was about the only place with an open room for new years http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
Also, I'm looking for tips for cheap roundtrip tickets. I hate priceline, and I found some $220 tickets at delta which are probably the cheapest? Maybe someplace I can get some sort of discount?
Lastly, any tips on food? I'd rather not spend $300 for 5 days worth of food http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
Anything is appreciated, thanks http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

When I went to Disney World we took our own food for Breakfast and Lunch and Baught dinner. It worked alright and cut back on costs. Hope that helps.

Disney world is a pretty big place. I grew up around Orlando and we had season passes, so I was there a *lot*. My advice to you is USE THE MAP! You'll get totally lost, not get to see/go on stuff you want to, etc. Bring a back-pack. Put water, snacks, even books for long lines in it. (Sadly, yes, I read in Disney World lines.) If you want to eat in the park, do so at the little kiosk thingies. They're usually much cheaper than the actual restaurants. Hope that helped http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

So funny that this subject came up! We are also planning a Spring trip to good ol' Disney. I haven't got a CLUE where to start. We want to take the train down (that part is easy).. but WHERE to stay is another. Any ideas on where to get package info, discounts, etc. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Okay, unless you're prepared to spend a small (or not so small) fortune, don't stay in one of Disney's resort hotels. You prolly couldn't even get one now, becuase the book up in a heartbeat. So, my advice would be to stay in Kissimee. It's still really close, and they'll prolly have all sorts of special Disney deals. I mean, they have commercials all over the place. Besides, the last time I was there, it wasn't a bad town. The same thing goes for the food..if you don't want to spend a fortune, don't eat at the sit and serve restaurants. Eat at the ones where you have to go up to the counter, or bring stuff in a back pack. They don't check your bags or anything. It might also be a good idea to figure out which rides you *really* want to go on. Since it's summer, Disney will be *PACKED*, so lines may be over an hour. Personally, I don't think "It's a Small World" is worth that. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but if you have any specific questions, please let me know, and I'll do my best to answer http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

Can ya' tell me what the poop is with the hotels in Disney? We were looking at the cheapest which is the Character Motel/Sports Motel. It's something like $70/night, which considering it's in Disney, is not bad. Are the other hotels as CLEAN as Disney? Are there any websites that offer pkgs (we're going to take the train) train tixs, Disney tix and accomodations? Any info is GREATLY appreciated. By the way, our trip is planned for next March/April...
Thanks!!!
