Guess what everyone!?!
I've been officially labelled an anorexic. Not anorexia nervousa, cause I have no problems eating junk food. I'm just approx 10kg's (22lbz) underweight. Its kinda scary cause I've really been trying to eat in the last little while, and it turns out that I've grown AND lost weight at the same time. It kinda sux cause even my tightest pants are kinda loose on me. But it's all good cause I haven't fainted for 3 weeks now. And I'm heaps happy. And you know what else? I haven't cut myself up for 3 months.
But anyway... I'm back! (I hope.)
Love ya all,
-Natty

Recognizing a fault is half the battle. Once you understand that, you can at least find ways to solve it. Good to hear of your recent developments. :) Hang in there and work on eating just a little more, each day.
Now that you've grown again, you may be finished getting taller so now the weight will be easier to put on hopefully; you'll see. I was pretty much always underweight too, but now I am 5'5" and about in the 118-122 lb range. Good luck.:)

Another thing to help you gauge your target way is to search for Body Mass Index on the web. You'll find many sites that either have calculators or charts that you can use. The short end of it is to have a BMI between 18 and 24. Hopefully, this information will help you.

Um, anorexia is not a "fault". It's an illness.
Just wanted to make that clear.
Nat, glad you are doing well and it's great to see you back! *hugs*

hermanm - True enough, but JH didn't mean it that way - that was obvious enough.
lobo - Why thankyou for that lovelly offer! I think I might just pass - you never know, I might faint and ruin your tulips!
JH - My doc says that my body mass index is 19, so it's not really that bad. Also, I do try eating more, but my problem is that the more I eat the sicker I feel; so that when I have a full meal I have to lie down for 10 minutes just to keep it down.
Lil' Mo - That sure as heck is what I'm hoping too!!
Prox - I would if I could dear, but we dont exactly have the money to buy lotsa meat. Mum finally agreed to buy me full cream milk and some cheese, so that's a bonus. Everybody else in my family has to lose weight, so it's pretty hard to put it on in that atmosphere. But I'll get there! ... Even if I have to drink Sustagen.

Wish I could give you some of my extra 300 pounds! No, I'm not that overweight! Do you like hot fudge sundaes? I do and with whip cream and pecans. I love chocolate and peanut butter. When I was thin I used to think I was overweight and constantly was trying to lose. Now, I still want to lose but I need to now. I went to the other extreme.
Oh well, thus is life. It's all good I say, too. But then I think that moderation is the key. I've never been good at moderation, tho.

I'm very good @ moderation. Even now when I'm trying to put on weight I stop myself from having excessive desserts! :(
Ahh dear... I LOVE all of those things that you mentioned, however because everybody else in my house is overweight I don't get to eat any of them. They're all always dieting, and to tell you the truth I'm getting sick of it. I just want to go onto a junk-food diet and forget about it. Then again, knowing my body I'd still lose weight from lack of nutrition!
I swear Murphy loves me.

Hey, my family is always dieting, too. Or else they are talking about dieting. None of them are overweight at all right now but some have been. I think I rebelled and went the opposite way and I just eat whatever whenever and now I am overweight because I don't get the exercise I need. I don't live with any of them or they would drive me straight up the wall with it. I have had physical problems that prevented me from exercise but getting better.
But I still can fit in the tub and I can still get out the door! Ha. Ha. Waddle here, waddle there, waddle everywhere! Just kidding again, not that big....yet. :ohboy:
Actually, I visit another web site forum about losing weight and I don't go all the time because sometimes it, too, has the opposite effect on me. I just like to be me and so, I'm over, so what. Who the heck is perfect anyway, right?
I don't eat sweets all the time either but I do have them when I want. I buy 1 candy bar usually and even tiny ones, too. I don't get enough exercise and that is what I'm aiming to do.
Yeah, I think you will fill into your height and many go through those growth spurts like you did. I'm full grown height wise now and forever as I'm an old lady! Well, I'm middle aged you can say.
These labels they put on us, none sound very good--either anorexic or obese.

Well... I too have a physical condition that stops me from exercising so you're not alone on that front. Sometimes I wish I'd just get better, I mean, hello! I'm 15 here! but I know it's not going to happen. I used to be an athlete... *shrugs* life can throw some pretty icky obstacles in our way but it's all for the best in the end. If you read back through some of these threads you'll find out quite a lot about me. :) Some good, some bad, but all true.
I'm glad you're doing better.
Through the icky stuff...we all can't walk on water but we all can at least keep our head above it to keep going.
face the sun and all your shadows fall behind you... :sun:
