After a 3-day layoff, Statsman is working once again.
With the surge of activity that has resulted, some interesting revalations have come to light:
During the downtime, I passed BRiT to move into first place on the team in completed work units. However, I still trail BRiT and Charles in total score. BRiT should fall to my overwhelming power and my superior kung-fu grip shortly (j/k BRiT ;) ), but I should have at least one new machine joining the fold, plus one of my older systems that's been down for a while for no other reason than I ran out of time to hook it up.
Another revalation is one that is not so good.
While the situation with Team Google was unavoidable due to their sheer numbers, we're about to be caught by another team who leapfrogged so quickly that we didn't see them coming.
Redfolders is outproducing us at such a rate, they should pass us within about a week.
This only underscores the fact that we really need to get more people involved. As for the members already contributing, keep up the great work. But there are only so many systems that each of us can add when we're already contributing. We will see a much greater benefit in the long run if we can just get a few new users to contribute regularly.
The good news is that we've picked up 3 new folders in recent weeks: Activicist, CHARLES VAUGHN, and ImAJnifr.
Welcome to the team, and thanks so much for contributing.
