Is it just me or are the work units taking longer to complete then they used to. Ive been working on the same one for a while now, and I used to crunch through these things like they were nothin.

Just to make sure, but you are doing Folding@Home 2, correct?

I'm not sure about the work units currently going through the FAH program, but FAH2 work units seem to vary according to the type of protein. I've had several that were only 10 steps that give you credit for 1 point, while I've had 100 step proteins that give 2 points of credit and take 2-3x longer to complete.

Since we've all moved to FAH2, I don't think that any of us can really answer how long FAH units are taking to complete.

Yeah, im using fah2. And I am still on the same damn unit. Oh well, I guess it will all kick up on the next unit.

What speed is your CPU?
What OS are you running?
Are you running the Console version of the client?
What protein is it currently doing?

I haven't gotten one of those yet. However, I noticed that you completed one work unit and were credited 3 points for that work unit, while all of the ones my systems are working on are 2 points each, so I would imagine that one you have would take quite a bit longer.
You're getting credited more for it, so just let it go. Unless you have other things going on with your system, I'm guessing you're fine.

I must be getting the slowest units ever. I mean 8 hours of idle computer time, 10 frames . . . i know my computer should be running faster then this

One of the units currently being processed by my home PC (dual MP1800+) managed 11% whilst the other one (GNRAHairpin) did 52% so there are some very variable unit times even on 100 frame units.
