View Full Version : MLB Allstar game
So what do you all think about the all star selections. I personaly am glad to see some of the people there like Jeff Kent who is having a great year in SF. How ever i cant Believe that Frank Thomas who is having an outstanding year leading the White Sox to the best record in Baseball isnt on the team. Any other thoughts. Who should be there but isnt or who is there that really deserves it.

I certainly think there were some very significant snubs from the All-Star team this year. But there always are. Frank Thomas was indeed a serious omission, but Danny Graves being left off was the most serious snub. Tony Batista and Mike Bordick both also deserved to be on the All-Star team.
Kent certainly deserved to be voted in more than Biggio, who's having a mediocre season. I thought Alphonzo was also deserving, and he got added as a reserve.

Yeah I agree Danny Graves should be on the team. With his numbers I dont see how he didnt make it. Tony Batista also deserves to go. You are right there always are some snubs but this year there seems to be some major ones.
