one of my bestist friends and coworkers has passed away. she went into the hospital in september because she was having stomach pains. she was only supposed to stay for a few days. turns out she had some kind of infection in her pancreas. shortly afterwards, she slipped into a coma and never came out. she passed early friday morning.
she had a husband and two little kids. they are devastated beyond belief. everybody at work on friday was depressed and crying. i had to keep getting up to run to the ladies' room to compose myself.
she was the nicest person on the planet who made everyone feel special. i can't think of a nicer person for this horrible thing to happen to. i keep asking - why her???? i'm so upset, i feel like punching a hole in the wall.
she loved having people around her and was always having parties and stuff. i am SO glad that i went to most of these get togethers because it made her happy to see others happy and little did we all know that our time together was coming to a close.
we're going to her wake today. this is going to be too much to handle i think.
all i can say is this: enjoy your life, enjoy your family, love every minute of life, because you never know what's going to happen. if you enjoy doing something - then DO it!
thanks for listening
