Charles> According to the website, 1.34 is still the current release. The 2.0 client is still in beta.
As such, we should probably hold off until the 2.0 client becomes official.

The most other Teams are switching or thinking over to go with v2.
Included Team Rage3D,OV,OVAU etc .
I ain't so shure if the V2 is final now but ther will not be much changes.

The first job that I recieved with version 2 was 400 frames and has not been accredited.
The same thing happened to Charles
Since then we have both had 20 frames per unit going through ok.

**CAUTION**
A problem with this version is that it DOESN'T REGISTER A USER ID WITH THE SERVER, so once you have downloaded the files and started folding, shut down the client using Ctrl-C, then run the FAH2Console.exe file again. This time it will request a User ID from the stanford servers, and you will now be registered. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS YOUR PROTEINS WILL NOT BE COUNTED!!. You have been warned.
For some it's tolate know  .

Okay, 2 more pc's now running version 2.0...
I'll get around to it one of these days...
They still don't have HTTP-tunneling built into the 2.0 client, so a lot of potential machines at work go unused. :(

Is there a Version of Electron Microscope that works with 2.0? If so I'll switch over.

Well, I only have one machine running it right now, due to the move this week.
I am having a terrible problem with it crashing though. Seems it's not as stable as the 1.34 client, at least with my overclock. Same overclock on 1.34 ran for months, literally, without a hiccup.
2.0, on the exact same configuration, crashes out several times per work unit, but I can come back, restart the client, and it progresses normally until the next crash.
Weird.
Anyway, once the move is done, I'll get one or two extra machines back in the mix, so my numbers should pick up slightly in a week or so.

If there are bug issues....I will stick to the 1.34 client until they are resolved....

If it's any help I've had workloads varying from as little as 20 frames to as many as 4000 in the past couple of weeks, but they all end up taking the same amount of time.

I figured out my crash problem.
I had installed the graphical client initially, then installed the Console client to get a feel for installation issues, and so forth.
Under Win2k, the screen saver that comes with the graphical client doesn't work correctly, which is why the folks at Stanford made the screen saver a seperate download for NT/2k users.
What I didn't realize is that, although I was now running the console client, the graphical install sets up the screen saver. Once the screen saver tried to kick in, it kills off the console client.
So, let this be a warning to the rest of you. Learn from my mistake, until I put a FAQ together. :)

No problems to report on either of my machines.
Looks good this past week or so I've had it going..
Put it on Lysi's machine as well and so far so good.
