I admit it. I have some problems. I've been trying to get better and my progress has been going quite well, but more advice can help.

I... I... I... Umm.... AHH!!! I can't find the word! OK, got it. I, literally, squeek when I speak. I find it as a result of my condition of being out of breath when I talk, but I forgot that it happens so it continues to haunt me. I've even been confronted by gals about my constant squeeking! It's very embarrassing... Any advice besides to calm down a bit and speak slower?

I also have another problem which many men, and some women have. Wandering eyes. This is the worst when talking to the ladies and I can't seem to keep my eyes concentrated at one area, the eyes. I get really nervous when I have to stare at them, eye to eye, and talk. The people I talk to don't seem to have any problems doing so, but I do. Any advice? I'm getting better at doing this, but any tips can certainly help.

I don't know about the squeaking, but maybe if you try to stare at the place between her eyes or her forehead, you won't get so nervous. I mean, don't *STARE* at her forehead, or she'll get all paranoid, but..it might help http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

As for the eyes, I find when I'm uncomfortable I look like right beside thier face or just above the head. Looks like I'm looking at them but.........

As for the voice. Practice when your alone.
Nothing wrong with that! Girls practice almost every look they make.http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/lol.gif

hm.. F are you overweight? that causes some people to become out of breath when speaking... either that or speak shorter sentances and take a breath in between them http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/tongue.gif

25% of the US population is overweight. I'm part of that quarter proportion. I thought that would have been the problem, but it's not. I'm out of breath because when I talk, I talk quickily and I do have a tendency to talk too much at one time. One example of this is when I write sentences many of mine are run-on sentences. We do write what we say or think and we say what we think.
