Recordable DVD player

Has anyone seen any recordable dvd players around, I am looking for one but they seem very rare.

I know they can't record huge amounts of data at the moment but we only want it to copy incidents off cctv cameras.

Any ideas?

I'm going to have to take a look around for you. I know I found one somewhere. As you said, the disks only record about 3 gigs and each DVD movie is MUCH more than that.

I'll look and let you know. Maybe try a search on Yahoo or something. I think that's how I found it.

I found an article saying that HP and Sony were releasing a 3-gig (100 mins) HP's for $699 but I could not find it on their web site.
