anandtech is another forum
it used to be a decent place for deals but eventually the moderators and anand decided to make rules that were totally outrageous, etc, etc

Truth is, you're better off not knowing what that place was. It was, once, a great forum where hundreds of people would share information and talk about stuff. Their most popular forums were the Hot Deals and Off-Topic. Then, the place took on a new policy. The new policy angered hunreds of users and rebellious actions followed. Since then, deal seekers have searched for another place they can call home. One of those places, for me is Alien Soup.
