New Goal Suggestions?

Our initial goal was to break into the Top 25 teams and gain Alien Soup some well-deserved recognition. Seeing as how we're about to crack the Top 25, probably by the middle of next week, we should think about what our next goal is.

Of course, we'd like to make Alien Soup the #1 team, but that's not really a realistic goal at this point in time, seeing as how we're thrilled to have just passed the 15,000 work unit mark as a team since we started, while teams like [H]ardOCP and Ars Technica are doing more than that in one week.

So, any suggestions as to what our next major goal should be?
Perhaps a recruiting goal? Say, to have x number of active members by a certain time?
Maybe a team challenge, where we challenge a competing site to see who has more work units done by a certain date?
Or another ranking goal, like making it into the Top 10 teams?

Any suggestions or opinions would be welcome.

Well, I've been pimping us over at [H]ardOCP, mentioning how I'm ahead of some of their members, playing up the friendly rivalry aspect to at least try to draw some attention to our site.

As for a CPU, I don't know if I can help you there, but a cheap heatsink can be found at www.2cooltek.com. (http://www.2cooltek.com.) They have a decent selection, excellent service, reasonable prices, and cheap shipping. I don't remember what kind of CPU you have, but if you let me know, I'd be happy to make a suggestion for a cheap upgrade.

JH&gt; Just a warning that you'll likely get much more done with the console version than with the screen saver.
Also, I've found the screen saver to be quite buggy. On Dana's machine, it crashed on more than one occasion. After the 3rd BSOD, and since the console runs much faster, I switched her over to the console.

Just something to think about.
