Mth, now that the date is getting closer and closer I must say, I've been wondering... I hear of SO many people who have the *perfect* name lined up for their unborn child. Often at times from day one, and they've even begun buying little things with his or her name on it. But then, when they finally look at the little baby's face for the first time, I've been told that something just "hits" them, and they totally do a 180 and switch the name as a last minute, but totally final decision. hi guys!

i just spoke with her at 8:15 est. as of right now, she's awake, alert and taking calls.

she was put on pitocin as of 6:30 a.m. and things are progressing normally! pitocin is what gets the contractions moving. she'll get her epidural soon too, i suppose. this will make her more comfortable during the labor.

actually, i think, in retrospect, maybe all our phone calls helped her. in my experience, it keeps your mind off things and makes the whole process go quicker and as long as there are no complications, then why not just stay on the phone http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/lol.gif

Jason is doing great. He wasn't holding down his formula, though, so he's getting soy milk staring today. (We got home yesterday.) He was born at 4:29 pm, March 8, and weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces.

As for me, I feel like poo. I didn't waddle while I was pregnant, but I am now. Stiches are not fun (not that you really needed to know that I have stiches, but..). However, in the past three days, I've lost um..14 pounds. I can lay on my stomach! Epidurals are very, very good..very good. http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
