hey, baby wipes are mighty fine for wiping.

there are times though, that you don't *need* to wipe. you know, when you poo and it drops like a brick into the water, sending one drop of water back up to your hiney. this is the signal that the poo has made a clean break, if you will, and only requires but a quick sweep with a small amount of toilet paper just for good measure.

this doesn't happen very often for me ...

I've had to wipe with leaves at camp, but THANK GOD I never wiped with the wrong leaf!! However,I do know that a number of kids that summer did wipe with poison ivy and were quite uncomfortable afterwards http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/wink.gif http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/blush.gif

I personally use a wad of toilet paper. I do use the wet wipes after I have already wiped with the wad of toilet paper for extra cleanliness. I'll fold and reuse the wet wipes by refolding them.

What I'd like to know is, what do people do when they are all alone in a public bathroom in a busy place when anyone could walk in at any moment and there is no toilet paper in the stall?

(note: story on why it's more polite to shake hands with your right hand...A girl went to the bathroom in a public place, but there was no toilet paper and she had nothing to wipe with. So, she used her left hand to wipe herself [of course cleaning herself afterwards]. From that day on, it has been considered rude to shake hands with your left hand)

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS WIPE! Can you see inside the crack of your ass? No. So wipe it. There may be something back there. Just think of this, and this may be a whole nother topic altogether, but if someone is giving you some "oral pleasure," they are gonna see that. And wanna puke. If they love you they will just ignore it, but still... EW! you should always wipe regardless. Then you extra ensure not getting skid marks in your undies.

Anyways, i use those moist wipe thingys sometimes. Although it does seem to defeat the purpose. Like, if I had a messy time on the pot, i will tend to use that FIRST to get clean, then I use toilet paper to dry off. I tend to wad the toilet paper, but I do still fold it sometimes to reuse that same wad. No, not folded all nice and perfect, just enough to not go re-smearing anything....
