I still think their best song was the one at the end of the Singles soundtrack. Even Siamese Dream wasn't as powerful as that one song. And I liked Siamese Dream a lot...
Everything since, though, as been utter trash, IMHO.

Funny you should mention that DD, since Drown was the song that got me into them. Cool background music. Yeah, their later stuff hasn't been exactly stellar, but I can still dig it. I'm not sure what to make of Machina, but I'm really glad they got Jimmy back for that album.
