A short poem from me

I haven't even ventured into this forum before, but I figured what the heck. I've been out of the habit of writing poetry but thought I would perhaps share something *not* of the sad, longing, love poem type (nothing against those, I still think at least 90% of the ones I've written are that type also). Slowly slide into the warm darkness
Entranced by what you find within yourself
And sweetly savor the sour smile
Of those across the room
As you are gently rocked
Into a white sea of apathy
Blanketed by meaningless laughter
And embraced by floating mellow tones.
