i'm really depressed today ...

a buddy of mine that i used to hang w/in high school called me out of the blue last night. i knew it was bad news from the tone of his voice. turns out one of our friends died in a car crash. we are all going to the wake tomorrow. i suppose it will also be a bittersweet reunion of sorts, as we all haven't seen eachother in over 16 years.

the sad part is, even though i didn't hang w/this guy as much as some of my other friends did, i remember him as a young kid driving around in his dad's station wagon and now he's dead - where is the justice?

i guess what i'm trying to say is: love your families and friends and live life to the fullest cuz ya never know what's gonna happen.

I try to take into account what you just said, as far as living each day fully, and telling those you care about how much they mean. Unfortunatly, I just wish I remembered it a little more often than I currently do. Alot of room for improvement, especially when I'm kinda down...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know what it's like when you haven't seen someone in awhile and they are gone. I had a couple of friends die within a couple of weeks this past winter who i had not spoken to in a while. It's tough. I hope the wake provides some closure. I will be praying for you...
