Since my family all passed away at fairly young ages...........I don't care how many I have. It sure beats the alternative.

So, for my b-day on the 14th I'll be going to Seattle for a few days. Have *Christmas* with my aunt, Pike Street Market (hope)and just get away for the long weekend. Of course I have to drive down Saturday night for you-know-what. Blech!

Now, how many of you *dread* birthdays even at your young ages? I thought it was just awful when I turned 20.? Can't figure that one out now that I'm way past that. http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

I have this weird thing where I don't remind people that my birthday's coming up. I guess it's sorta like a test to see how well they know/like me if they remember. Then, of course, I wind up feeling like poop because no one ever remembers, except for like, 1 person and a teacher (well..that was when I was in school). Of course, for my 17th birthday, all of my church friends said absolutely nothing to me and then threw me a surprise party planned by my mom http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif So, I don't really mind birthdays..I just need to tell people when it is.
