Yea love my cable connection. Had to wait three years but then finally about two years ago the cable company wired it for optimum online and I've been loving it since. DSL they will probably never wire this area. They will one day beg for customers since that where ever you can get basic cable now you can get hi speed cable and digital cable for the most part. I say good riddens I begged and begged and they told me well the government doesn't force us to install it so tough. Not to mention unless you spend more cable gives you higher speeds.

I can't imagine anything but cable - had dial-up once (shoot me in the leg...) then went to DSL (dissappointing). Nothing compares to cable.

Yea I got optimum online. My maximum speed is like 10 MB. When I got it it was like a whole new internet. Had dial up couldn't do anything with it. DSL the phone company refuses to wire my area after 5 years. So right now DSL and the phone company can shove it. What I got anyway is far more superior. It cost more though but since I got digital cable from them I get a slight rebate which makes my bill $44 a month. The extra $14 a month is worth it though for having a cable connection which gives you 10 MB over which the basic DSL package for $30 a month only gives 768 kbs (less than 1 MB). Oh yea I'm considering getting VOIP (Optimum Voice). With the packages I got now the monthly cost would be $15. But I'm wondering if anyone else has it. Is it good?
