I am such a dork! I still take any chance at a nice hot bubble bath to relax. But I always shower after it. Did you know that some people can actually NOT take baths and can only take showers?

I prefer showers, why sit in your own dirt? However, I have been known to shower and then fill the bath and soak. Must be clean first before I bathe. I also am a firm believer in conserving water hence have often showered with a friend. LOL

Sauna.
I was partially raised by a Finn. Nothing beats a good long sauna session followed by a jump in a lake...or, in our case, a quick scrub in a cool shower.
That being said, I no longer have access to a sauna 24/7, so these days it's scalding hot showers for me!

I usually either jsut have a bath or a shower...

I prefer to shower. I would consider a bath only if the bathtub can hold enough water to reach to the top of my shoulders similar to the old claw feet porcelain baths or the baths that you step down into. Now that's a bath of luxury!

i love baths however i am stuck in an apartment that only has a shower and i hate it but i agree with you kate the old claw feet prcelan baths are great my friend has one in her apartment.

I'm a shower person. Sometimes I get an urge to take a bubble bath, but then the old "sitting in your own" thought pops into my head and I'm immediately turned away. Besides - I do not have the luxury of having that extra time for a bath. I just can't hold still long enough for that!

Shower first Mrsd. Then go for the Calgon take me away moment in clean bath water. Try it you will like it!
That's how I'd do it - I just don't have that much TIME! I'm a prisoner to my own schedule!! I'm not complaining, tho - I like my life (most days...)
