Does anyone here put bleu cheese on their pizza or dip it in? (The dressing not just chunks of the cheese)

The reason I ask is that I am interested in seeing where this comes from. The first time I ever witnessed blue cheese on pizza was in college in Western/Central New York. I am from Buffalo and this is not done there to my knowledge. I always assumed that that meant that it was a downstate thing, but many people have told me that this was not the case. For the record I am not a fan of blue cheese on pizza, it should be for wings and fingers, but eveidently some people just love it.

Blue cheese? That's a new one to me.
Heard on Donair (sp) sauce up in Quebec that was some type of white sauce. Tasted like mayo & honey.

Guess dipping the crust into blue cheese dressing might taste okay.?

I've never heard of it, but it might be pretty good, depending on what kind of pizza it is. Hrm..

I'm from the Niagara Falls area & hadn't seen or heard of that phenomenon until I moved to Rochester. The only problem was that I witnessed it in college, so I'm not sure if it's a Rochester thing, or if the kids imported it from some other part of the country.

It's really not that bad, actually.

Dip? Why would anyone dip pizza?

the purpose of putting something on top of the bread/crust is to eliminate the dipping ....

There's no dipping with pizza...

However, bleu cheese on the pizza with spicy chicken can be quite good...

I've gotten pizza that came with garlic butter dipping sauce, but I only used it on the crust. It was yummy though.
