I just went to lunch at a seafood place and the mood to eat was kinda ruined by the protestors outside. It had something to do with baby seals. SO I was wondering if this would effect y'all the same way.

Unless the protesters are there because the establishment has baby seal on the menu, their presence would not curb my appetite. I have yet to allow a picket line to interfere with my purpose or plans.

It depends on the issue they are pickiting. If I agree with them, I will probably stop frequenting the business or establishment in support of the issue. If I don't agree with them, then I don't care if they give me dirty looks as I walk by.

Sometimes, like during school strikes at all levels, I don't have a choice. It's not like I can STOP going to school. I need my education.

Completely depends on the circumstances. If I agreed with the reason for the protest, then I would take my business elsewhere. If not, then I would walk right past them.

I agree that I also would take my business elsewhere IF it was for a cause that I supported. I have and will continue to cross a picket line at a hospital. One reason that I gave up my profession was because I vehemently am opposed to nurses having the right to strike! We are there for the patients not for our own selfish, greedy needs and trust me I have experienced first hand the non-compassionate care some nurses deliver patients. Nurses who complain that some of their co-workers spend too much time tending to their patients and complain that the patients are misled into believing they will receive the same care when the conscientious RN is not on duty should have their license revoked!

It would all depend on the situation, if I believed in their cause I'd join them. If not then I'd just walk by and think they were stupid...

Of course - you go to have a good time, who wants to walk through a picket line and get eggs thrown at you? I'd just eat elsewhere.

It would definitely depend on the situation. The person who throws an egg at me if I so choose to cross the picket line had better be heavily insured however as I mean business when it comes to aggravated assault upon my person! I have crossed picket lines before and I have also interviewed parties on both sided of the dispute. To date no debris or flying objects have been hurled my way, with or without an official escort!

Buncha people with signs & apparently not much better to do with their time would not affect my decision one way or the other. Now, if they just handed out info flyers instead with the reasoning, and a largely unbiased reason, that might. If it's obvious propoganda I'd just trash it.

Hell no it wouldnt. I eat where I want. Not where a damn sign tells me to or not to. Or people for that matter.
