You are at a barbecue. The flame is high, the food smells delicious, and you are hugry. You walk up to the cook, and ask for?

STEAK!!!

I can't believe that's not a proper option on the poll! When someone says BBQ, I think "steak" :)

If there's no steak, hamburger please...with ketchup and onions. Yum.

Rain = awesome, mustard = gross. I don't know if I want to be invited to this bbq anymore... :p

Yeah, well...I don't actually own a BBQ, so it's not my money! Anyway, steak is just my preference, more often than naught, it's just hamburgers.

It depends, is the hot dog made out of pork?

I think to be safe I will take the chicken, but seeing as it has been on the grill for over a day now I am not so sure.

Wow um is chicken supposed to shrink??

I would happily eat ANY of the above, but if I could only eat one, I would say sausage.

Shrimp! Nothing more heavenly than shrimp done properly on the BBQ. Next to that burnt hot dogs with the works please. The dark the dog the better.

Hands down, it's chicken. It's better for you and you KNOW what it's made of. My favorite condiment is mayonnaise (except on chicken!!!). Ketchup is just plasin GROSS, even tho I love tomatoes. Mustard is an absolute last resort. Seafood wasn't an option, and I'd choose that over chicken for the most part.

I don't like rain when I'm at work. When I'm home I usually bake something or clean a closet. I don't like to drive in the rain, either. I LOVE to sleep when it rains, tho!

Is this only an all american BBQ because a mexican BBQ has carne asada and pollo asado plus all your favorite sides like beans, roasted corn, warm tortillas, or tostadas, maybe chicharrones, and horchata and jamica. That's real food that settles in your stomach like a weight, now I'm hungry and I just ate, a hamburger by the way.

I love meatball subs with extra cheese. Haven't had a good Italian meal since I came back to the sticks!

I KNOW!! Canadians just can't get certain foods. My cousin who is French Canadian and has lived in Texas for the past 30+ years is STILL complaining about what she can and cannot get as far as foods go. When she comes home we stuff her as full as we can with the foods she loves most! Italian subs with xtra cheese are a true rarity for me at this age - no longer can I indulge in my youthful cravings. I haven't had one of those in years. Rat that you are, Irish - you're a man so you can get away with it!:) I absolutely LOVE to cook - for me it's better than "you know what". Don't tell MrD - he thinks I like both! :eusa_ange It matters not what I cook - I'm happy! I may not eat it because of what it will do to my aging body, but I love it none the less!

High cholesterol and Type 2 diabetes didn't happen from eating healthy Mrsd. I may eat what I want but ultimately I am paying the price. I don't have the willpower like you to deny myself such pleasures. Living the single life does have its drawbacks in more ways than one. Would love a great cook!

Eating healthy can also be rewarding. Ask me 6 months ago and I would have told you differently. I am seeing the progress and I am happy about that. I rewarded myself this last weekend with a spa pedicure and manicure. I love relaxing and I haven't done anything for myself in so long I felt I deserved it after all that I have givin up to make myself healthier. Now if I could just remember to take my medications then that would be a plus. Will not be here Thursday, just a heads up on that. But will miss you guys! I might be back Friday, it just depends.

??? I had BBQ last night. Wonder if this "flu" is not a bit of food poisoning? Possible!
