"100 People Who Are Screwing Up American (And Al Franken Is #37)" (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0060761288/bashanything-20/102-1981455-8522542?%5Fencoding=UTF8&camp=1789&link%5Fcode=xm2) is an EXCELLENT book by Bernard Goldberg, and I highly recommend it. It gets 0 BASHES from me!

The book lists 100 people, not all liberal I might add, who, who are contributing to the downfall of the United States. The author also does an excellent job of showing the fall of American decency. In the introduction he points out that how not a single person on a crowded plane objected to someone shouting, "IT'S ALL F'ED UP!" while speaking on a cell phone. Mind you, the authored edited the F word, the person speaking did not!

Great book!

Sounds like a definite read, Angry. Might it be suggested as the August Book of the Month?

I personally think there are a lot more than 100 people screwing up America, but maybe that's just the TOP 100 :p

I saw the author on Jon Stewart the other day, it was an interesting interview. Apparently Al Franken flushed the book down the toilet...how very mature. I can't say I agree with everything the author said on the show, but it certainly sounded like an interesting take on things.

OMG - don't ever go by what Al Franken says!! He's only out to promote himself - he THINKS he's a comedian!:eusa_thin You're right tho - there ARE more than 100 people screwing up America! I guess we need to start SOMEWHERE, tho! I plan to get the book.

I've never actually heard Al Franken say anything. He was on Letterman once, but I switched away because as you said he THINKS he is comedian, so watching him was painfully boring. I don't tend to follow personalities in the States too closely.
