I realized this afternoon while I was eating my lunch that it's very hard to be polite and lady-like while you're ripping meat off bones with your teeth and there is barbeque sauce smeared all over your fingers. Yeah. There should be a list of foods you can only eat around family or friends. I have dinner parties every wednesday, and sometimes I wonder why I bother making noodles and serving it with chopsticks. I mean, could anything be more embarrassing than a guest losing control of his or her chopsticks, and dropping angel hair pasta dripping in soy sauce onto the floor?

Oh well, the cat loves it.

I'll tell ya two places that have the best ribs - Rondevous Ribs in Memphis and Dreamland Bar-B-Q in Tuscaloosa, AL and Birmingham, AL.

Ribs should not be eaten in public, though.

Darn. There used to be a site up that rated BBQ places all over the country and Dreamland was number one for ribs and I know Dinosaur was on there somewhere.

Best ribs I've ever had are right here in New York.
It's a bit of a trip to Oneonta, but Brooks BBQ has absolutely the best chicken and ribs ever!

If anyone else is willing to make a 2 1/2 hour drive to get there (yes, it's worth the trip), I'm game.
