Im afraid we wont get the whole story on the Iraqi Election, as we know Fox News Channel tends to lean a bit more on the Shi'ite Viewpoint then it does on the Sunni Viewpoint. Their coverage will not be "Fair and Balanced" as they so claim.

(in case you didnt get it by now this isnt a serious thread)

I find myself more and more disgusted with Fox News. My opinion is they come off as thinking as though they're some type of elitist group - above and beyond. It's like 'if you're not listening to US, you're just not listening'. I feel sometimes that I'm not getting the whole story. Unlike CBS or course where you're just lied to....

I could not disagree with you any more than I do. Fox News IS the closest thing you are going to get to FAIR AND BALANCED. NO OTHER NEWS SHOW PRESENTS BOTH SIDES AS OFTEN AS THEY DO. Do they do it all the time? No. But they do it much much more than other channels.

I am so sick of hearing people bash Fox without giving SPECIFIC EXAMPLES. For example, yesterday I was watching MSNBC. They have a Professor who comes on and gives a speech about how wrong the war in Iraq is, and how different it is from WWII. The "reporter" asking questions is agreeing, and actually HELPING him with his point of view. THAT IS A SPECIFIC EXAMPLE, THAT I WATCHED WITH MY OWN EYES, OF BIAS. There was NO, NONE, ZIP, NOTHING, presented at all from an opposing view.

Then there was the time I was at the Gym, watching CNN AND MSNBC. It was when they Supreme Court ruled that colleges could use race as a deciding factor in admissions. Both stations had reporters going over the case and the decision. Then, low and behold, they both interviewed the University's Dean, who lauded the decision. Then, commercial. NO OPPOSING OPINIONS.

It really is a JOKE to target Fox, when the reality is, Fox is a COUNTER BALANCE to all the LIBERAL Bias that is so prevalent. If you are going to keep blasting Fox, give SPECIFIC EXAMPLES PLEASE.

And, what IS "The Whole Story"? The FACT that the Iraqi people want elections, and Muslim TERRORISTS, NOT INSURGENTS, BUT TERRORISTS from neighboring countries are coming inside and attacking Iraqis? Is that the "Whole Story"? Or do you think that a debate about whether a war should or should not have been fought while troops are actively engaged is a good thing? I don't. All that does is strengthens the enemy's resolve. People like John Kerry, who give the enemy hope, because they know if they hold out long enough, the compassion of the American people tends to override their logic. They lose their stomach for war, and they give up.

So yeah, I think presenting the war in the best possible way is a GOOD THING. In the adult world, a place most liberals only visit from time to time, you argue BEFORE you make a choice. Once you make a choice, the time to argue is over. You do your best to complete the task at hand, and you move on. You don't second guess, bitch, moan, and complain about it the entire time you are doing it. That is bad when it done on social issues. It gets people KILLED when it is done in a time of war.

The President has EVERY LEGAL AND MORAL RIGHT to have our troops in Iraq. Should he have? Irrelevent at this point. He did. Stand by your President. Stand by your country. Get the job done, and get our boys out. Stop bitching. Stop whining. Stop putting the spotlight on how "horrible" it is, and just finish the job.

AMEN, AND THANK GOD FOR FOX NEWS- THE NUMBER 1 RATED CABLE NEWS STATION!
