looks like?
I saw something *very* strange in the sky Friday & then again yesterday. My dh & daughter both have lousy eyesight & did not see it.

What does a weather balloon look like & do they still use them? (Or is AAA being called home?)http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/eek.gif

You should call a local meteorologist to see if they've been using any in the area...if not, then you may have a sighting on your hands...

Hmmmm.........
Thanks for the photos Poss.
Can't really tell. (The way it moved across the sky was so -*different*.) Kind of leary about making the phone calls. My Grandma reported a sighting once and they just blew her off. Thought about calling the little airport because it disappeared when I turned to look at the plane. (That was at dh work and then saw something yesterday 20 some miles away.) Wondered if they saw it.
Well, guess I'll just pack a bag in case.

Well the hubby and I've seen a couple of strange things too. Once was when we were fishing on a pier.. about 20 of us out there. It's near Norfolk, out on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel - the first island... anyways there's an airport near so we're used to seeing lights in the sky - but this one just jumped in a zig-zag... it was still then a zig, still then a zag. Weird, but at least we weren't the only one's who saw it. Then about 6 years ago - we live WAY out in the boonies... about 25 miles to the closest "big" town. One night we saw this orangish/red glow just floating over the tree tops about 5 miles or so away. Now that freaked me out... it just moved so slowly. At first I thought it might be a helicopter, but it was dead quiet outside... no traffic you know, and never heard the faintest sound. Plus it moved so slow. Coulda been a chopper I guess. Who knows? http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

I haven't seen anything strange in quite some time, but I've definitly seen some strange stuff. About 12 years ago or so this bright orange thing zoomed by, it was going so fast amd it was huge. And I wasn't the only one who saw it my Dad and his cousin were with me when it happened. We just stood there for like 10 minutes going 'What the heck was that!!!' It was really freaky.

Yeap! I've seen strange "bouncing lights" and different things in a night sky. This was the only time I ever saw anything so odd in daylight and 2 different days and 2o+ miles apart.

(AAA figures if you live long enough you'll see plenty.)
