I'm so SICK of people saying they hate Bush. I mean, honestly, there are a lot of people I don't like, don't agree with, or aprove of, but I hardly hate them. Has Bush really affected your life directly? Has involvement in the war really been that detrimental to society? For all of you that claim Bush "tricked" or "lied to" the public about the WMD's, I encourage all of you to go back and read his original speech concerning the matter. Please, liberals need to stop whining about every little thing they don't agree with, stop with the political propaganda (cough Michael Moore cough), and do something constructive.

Signed,
a moderate conservative

P.S. for a humorous debate, check out O'Reilly's with Moore.

Personally, I like O'Reily, but I thought he dropped the ball with that interview. Kudos (ugh, please kill me now) to Moore - IMHO he came out looking as if he won the debate.

Dropped the ball? Moore was the one who couldn't keep his argument objective.

Moore is just a buffoon.

I saw an interview of his where he said that he doesn't mind if people download his movies. "All I want is to get the word out."

This is great news! I can pirate his works freely and with no guilt from now on!

PS Do you have a link to Bush's original speech? Or a date?

Thanks...

A reflective speech concerning Iraq:

Big recap of Bush statements:
http://www.rotten.com/library/history/war/wmd/saddam/

His most direct comment concerning the matter was "we think they've got them." He was basing his decision almost entirely on his (up until then) trustworthy intelligence. When they don't find anything there, he doesn't point fingers. In his speech outlining the war, he simply says "If they have weapons of mass destruction, we'll take them," (my paraphrase.) According to these speeches, his real reason for war was the terrorist threat of Iraq. Even if that is unfounded, its tough to argue the other way given the evidence.
