My family & I use to eat out about 2 times a day when we lived back in the "Big City" (would cook maybe 1-2 times a week). Now that we live at "The End Of The World" I cook all but once a week.

Guys Survey
1) Do you like to cook?

1) cook..I rather enjoy it most of the time
2) it'd be very nice once in a while if he did
3) once more, it'd be very nice if he did once in a while
4) i'll basically eat anything, cooked by anyone, so it doesn't matter too much
5) not worrying about that for the next 6 or so months..

1) I'd like to cook...I just don't have time
2) He does cook...99% of the time. He's much better at it than I am.
3) He takes me out often enough. I'm happy with a nice quiet night at home with him.
4) Pretty much.

Only on special occasions, but on really special occasions it's candlelit dinner.. and much later breakfast in bed.

2) Heck no, he's a great cook, but he does usually leave a huge mess in the kitchen. As a matter of fact I've been trying to remove an odd yellow gop of something that is stuck to the range hood. I don't know what it is... but if I can ever figure out what he was making that day, I could become rich selling the mixture to the military, as some sort of super bonding agent! http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/wink.gif

heh, that reminds me of my hubby. he's a great cook, but the kitchen really suffers when he's done. the other day, he decided to deep-fat fry some steak fries in a frying pan on top of the stove (w/olive oil no less). afterwards, he removed the fries and put the whole pan, oil and all, in the oven. i found it two days later after i turned the oven on. that baby was smokin' by the time i realized what had happened.
