Tri-annual CRAVING

Now, I gotta admit. I'm usually a very good girl -- my conscience dictates what I eat, so I usually stick to pasta (hey, I'm a Sinatra, of course I gotta have my pasta!), chicken, vegetables, no fried foods, etc. However. About 3 times a year - it's like clockwork. I get this absolutely positively massive carnivorous urge for a HUGE juicy piece of Prime Rib, Medium Rare. And when it hits, beware...there's no stopping me. Like my best friend said "my, God - she's like a pregnant woman!" It's getting to be that time of year again, I can feel it!

Mmmmmmmmmmm! Grilled food. (Homer drool) I can go for steak, ribs, fillets, or anything grilled, anytime! The stuff is SOOOOOOO good.

Let me share with you a delicious way to do steaks. Try using French dressing as a marinet (sp?). Just put the meat in the pan, pour french dressing over it, and let it soak in for a while! Then grill those puppies! Let me tell you! http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/chef.gif

We don't eat red meat that much here either. We use turkey for hot dogs, hamburgers and just about anything that calls for ground beef. But that's not to say we don't like it.

It's probably the main driving reason I get these insatiable cravings like i do...red meat abstinence just makes it all the more desireable!

Yikies! Me is a vegetarian and steaks a definite no no! Still, being part of a family where all pets and other members are "steak lovers" I understand your craving for meat only too well. Until recently I felt like quite the hypocrite wearing leather shoes and accesories when someone pointed out to me that I'm not "going all the way" *sigh* But I love leather...so you guys keep on eating those steaks (shudder) and I'll just blush and try to look pretty in my leather stuff http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/smilies/wink.gif
