Do you think we should have gone in to Iraq and liberated it? Do you think it was wrong of us to go in? Do you think it hasn't solved anything? Or do you believe it has?

So far the main reason for war was the search for weapons of mass destruction, but they haven't be found. Do you think Bush and Blair jumped the gun?

Do you think words are better than violence? Do you think we should have sorted this out democratically?

At first, I wasn't really sure what my feelings were. I was glad that America went in there and tried to make a difference, but then the thoughts about oil came across my mind. But when I turned on TV that one day when they took down the statue of Saddam, and saw all of the children smiling, I thought it was well worth it.

About the weapons of mass destruction, I heard something yesterday about a biological weapon lab they found in a huge trailer. I have no doubt Iraq still has them, they probably just did a good job hiding the weapons.

It was eventful to say the least.. I think that the American allies should have used there brains abit.. how many times did they kill friendlies? thats the only thing i regret! The US were all hooked on 'OOO we need to get tehm no matter what the costs are' and they were just jumping in. but then u have the Brits ' They were a little more wise, tactically.

The US were totally not prepared and they were just putting together Conscripts and chucking them in with the most little amount of m0oney spent on them

They weren't prepared? I guess that's why the won the war in one month. As for the stupid decisions, I guess they weren't prepared for that, in a way. They did make some mistakes. But you need to realize that you never hear about the good things that happen. The media always focuses on the bad. I'm sure they did a lot of things right, too.

But overall, I think they did a damn good job in the war, and they couldn't have done that with out excellent preparation.

Even as a strong supporter of the war, I must disagree with the media focusing on the bad. You certainly cannot lump all media together, especially in a world issue like this. Americans heard MUCH more good than bad, and many foreign countries heard just the opposite. Things were blown out of proportion, certainly, but things probably never surfaced too.

But, did you more good then bad? If the American forces did something posotive, sure, you heard about it. But when somebody died, such as American troop, it was all over the news. Some stations weren't so bad, like FoxNews or MSNBC, but CNN was totally negative. They bearly ever reported anything posotive towards the Americans.

Well again, even as a supporter of the war, I think American casualties must be reported. Now I'm not talking throw your agenda in about how evil the war is and use it as a case, but rather report it.

Anyway, when there were those beautiful images of Sadaam-bashing, we saw them, heck even the anti-US countries saw them (with few exceptions), yet some of the US protests got CONSIDERABLY less coverage.

How can you guys fully trust what you see on the media to begin with? Perhaps it is because I have worked in the media enough to realize that it is all a show, and everyone believes what is fed them. While I beleive the things happen, I also can never beleive they show the entire picture, and as far as the statue being pulled down, how do we really know how big the crowd was. Unfortunately I can't ever look at at picture, ot video, and think about what was cropped out, what was not shown. The media is too easy to manipulate, and if you don't think this is true, go watch "Wag the Dof" and see what you think afterward.

That's exactly what the Iraqi info minister was sayin...about how we weren't even in the country.
